Back Care, 3rd Edition -Updated 2011
Editors and Contributors: Cary C. Bucko, MPT,
Augustus A. White III, MD, Ib R. Odderson, MD, PhD,
Arthur E. Grant, MD, Murray A. Swanson, BS
24 pages, 44 illustrations

A flexion program
Although similar to Back Care 2nd edition, this version focuses on relief through Flexion Positions and Flexion Exercises.  If the patient’s lumbar lordosis is pronounced and the pelvic tilt tends to relieve pain, this version is likely to help.  The flexion-only exercise program is a refinement of the Williams Exercises which first became famous in the 1970s.  It is relatively simple and therefore supports compliance.

The Exercise Program consists of only seven basic exercises, presented with fifteen illustrations and careful, detailed instructions and caveats.   The program avoids the risky approach of simplified exercise sheets and booklets which fail to include important protective details.

Noteworthy Features
Protective—Includes details and caveats omitted from other programs.
Illustrated—Photographs of real people add to the text.
Inexpensive—Bulk pricing is much lower than found elsewhere.

Popular and informative booklets for Orthopedists, Neurologists, Doctors, Hospitals, Physical Therapists, Chiropractors and Hospitals.
